By default, receipts are created in the Receipts module  in a pending state so if we turn this feature off for a dynamic or bulk share, it shouldn't send the receipt out.  We should also handle it so that when the subscribing side (agent, MBS, servicenow) sends the receipt back, it ignores it gracefully (or possibly look into not sending the receipt back at all).

Prerequisites

(warning) First, you will need to follow the steps to get started with Replicator and create a dynamic share or create a bulk share.

Procedure

To enable receipt alert notifications for a dynamic share, follow these steps:

Log into your sharing ServiceNow instance and navigate to Perspectium > Replicator > Dynamic Share or simply type and then click Dynamic Share in the left side navigation window.

From the list of dynamic shares, click the name of the dynamic share that you want to enable receipt notifications for.

Scroll down to and click the Additional Settings tab. Then, on the right-hand side of the form, check the Receipt alert notification box to start receiving email notifications for receipts that are generated for outbound and inbound messages via Data Guarantee.

In the bottom left-hand corner of the form, click Update to save your changes.
