The Performance Stats module contains records of the Performance Stats table that profiles the performance of Perspectium DataSync Express activity. To create and view records, enable the Generate performance stats logs option in Perspectium Properties.


Prerequisites


(warning) First, you will need to follow the steps to get started with DataSync Express.

Procedure

To generate performance stats logs in the Performance Stats table, follow these steps:


Access Perspectium Properties

In your ServiceNow instance, go to Perspectium DataSync Express > Control and Configuration > Properties

Enable generation of performance stats logs

Check the box labeled Generate performance stats logs. Then scroll to the bottom of the form and click Save to save your changes.

View the performance stats logs

Navigate to Perspectium DataSync Express > DataSync Express > Performance Stats to view your ServiceNow instance’s performance stats logs. 

Each record in the Performance Stats table contains the following fields:

Type of job for the message

e.g., Sharing for DataSync Express

Action

Status for the message

COLLECTED = Completed and performance stats compiled for the message

PROCESSING = Gauges the performance of records within the same table. If a batch of records contains multiple tables, the PROCESSING record will display the overall performance of each table within that batch.

DurationTotal time taken to process all records of that given table
RecordsTotal amount of records processed for that given table
Records Per SecondTotal amount of records processed for that given table per second
Table Name

Name of the table and action

e.g., incident.bulk = a DataSync Express bulk share performed on the Incident table
