DataSync for ServiceNow is a method of sharing your ServiceNow data to an on-premises database or application. The DataSync approach involves sharing data out of your ServiceNow instance and then re-routing data to your on-premises database or application via the Replicator Agent. To get started with your DataSync integration, you will need to install the Replicator Agent and create dynamic shares or bulk shares in your ServiceNow instance.

To set up DataSync fo ServiceNow, follow these steps:


Install Replicator for ServiceNow

Follow the steps to install Replicator for ServiceNow.

Create a dynamic share or bulk share

Create a ServiceNow dynamic share or bulk share to enable the sharing of data from ServiceNow to your on-premises database or application.

Install & configure a Perspectium agent

If sharing your ServiceNow data to an on-premises database, follow the steps to install the Replicator Agent and configure your agent.xml configuration file to start sharing data.

If sharing your ServiceNow data to an on-premises application, follow the steps to set up the Repeater Agent.

Configure your on-premises database or application

If sharing your ServiceNow data to an on-premises database, you will need to follow some additional configuration steps to allow your database to accept inbound data.

If sharing your ServiceNow data to an on-premises application, you will need to contact Perspectium Support to ensure that your application is properly set up to accept inbound data.
