Optimize modifying your outbound table map by using Preview Output. Instead of repeatedly modifying a record, finding the outbound message, or decrypting the value whenever you make a change to your outbound table map, you can use the preview option to speed up this process.
Procedure
To preview the output of your table map, follow these steps:
Access Table Maps
In your ServiceNow instance, go to Perspectium > Control and Configuration > Table Maps. Then, click the desired table map.
(Optional) Select the record to preview with
Select a record in the Preview With field. This field will use the Source Table specified.
NOTE: If you do not specify a Preview With record, clicking the Preview Output will grab the latest updated record.
Preview Output
Click Preview Output. A formatted outbound message will then appear like the following:
