That is, when Krypton is the current version, we will continue to support Krypton, Iodine and Helium, fixing bugs as appropriate in those three versions (n being the current version and -2 being the last two versions).  For any major releases older than the current n-2, we will not provide any new patches and hotfixes. You will need to upgrade to an n-2 version for new patches and hotfixes. The current versions are Mercury and Lithium . Upgrading If you are upgrading from a version prior to the current n-2, then you will want to do incremental upgrades to ensure compatibility, upgrading at most two versions in between each upgrade. For example, if you are on Gold and want to upgrade to Lithium, you will want to upgrade to the point where you are on an n-2 version (i.e. Krypton or Iodine) and then upgrade to Lithium. It is recommended to upgrade to every version in n-2 to ensure full compatibility during upgrades. In this example, you would upgrade at a minimum: Gold > Iodine > Lithium However it is recommended to do the following, upgrading to all the versions in n-2: Gold > Iodine > Krypton > Lithium For the fullest upgrade path to ensure compatibility, you would upgrade to every release version between your version and the current version: Gold > Helium > Iodine > Krypton > Lithium For questions on the best upgrade path for your instance, please contact Perspectium Support .
