Prerequisites

(warning) First, you will need to install DataSync for ServiceNow and run the Perspectium Finish Install scripts.

(warning) Then, set your initial Perspectium & Replicator properties.

(warning) Lastly, create a ServiceNow to ServiceNow table compare.

Procedure

To import missing records locally, follow these steps:

Import all missing records

Import records missing locally

Click Import records missing locally under the Related Links

Import individual missing record

Access the row discrepancy

In the table compare record, go to the related table, PSP Row Discrepancy, towards the bottom of the form. Then, click the Record Sys ID that has a Missing locally state.

Get Record XML from Target

Click Create Record from Target under the Related Links. This will import the record's XML from the target instance into the Record XML field, allowing you to view the XML to verify this is a valid record you want to import into the instance.

(info) NOTE: Once this option has been clicked and the XML has been imported into the Record XML field, the Get Record XML from Target option will then change to be Create Record from XML.

Create Record from XML

Click Create Record from XML under theRelated Links. This will then create the record in the table being compared by importing the XML from the Record XML field into the instance. The Disposition field will update with the appropriate status as to whether the record was successfully imported or if there was an error along with an error message if available.
