Prerequisites

(warning) First, you will need to create a ServiceNow dynamic sharecreate a ServiceNow bulk share, or set up a Service Gateway integration.

(warning) We also recommend that you take a quick look at the Perspectium MultiOutput Processing job to familiarize yourself with it and contact support@perspectium.com to validate your work if necessary.

(info) NOTE: This method create jobs that query off the sys_id of the outbound message itself and not the record that the outbound message represents. Additionally, we normally share out the records in a way to preserve sequencing on a single queue, whereas this method does not honor that sequencing. This strategy is only recommended if you are bulk sharing a large set of data and are not concerned about the order they arrive in.  In addition, once this feature is configured, the default Multioutput Processing job will have an X in front of it and set to false.

For versions before Gold Patch 1 release, if you decide to stop using this feature, simply delete the multiple Multioutput Processing jobs and remove the X for the default job and set it back to true.

Procedure

To create multiple MultiOutput jobs using the replicator tools, follow these steps:

Navigate to Replicator Tools

In your ServiceNow instance, navigate to Perspectium Replicator > Tools. Click on Create MultiOutput Jobs.

Select the number of jobs

Click the Number of Jobs dropdown and select the amount of jobs you want to create.

(info) NOTE: Selecting option 1 will reset the job to default.

Then, click Create

(info) NOTE: For versions before Gold Patch 1 release, if you have any Perspectium MultiOutput Jobs (besides the default job) remaining from previous uses of this feature, delete them before using this feature again since these jobs are not deleted automatically when reusing this feature.
